I just downloaded this program to help me as a statistician, but it's useless unless I can somehow factor in pitches that are fouled off. Sure, they count as strikes during the first couple of pitches, but once those strikes reach two, the total pitches is the only number going up, not strikes and balls. I would suggest adding a button that is simply for foul balls, the user just needs to be smart enough to only hit that button when there are two strikes.
I was asked to keep a basic pitch count for a game and downloaded this at the field. I too ran into what to do about fouls and even hits. They count as pitches but are not balls or strikes.
I like the app and it serves the purpose of total pitch count well.
There is one thing I found annoying today ... the strikes are on the right and balls are on the left ... but the umpire (and everyone else in the baseball world) calls balls then strikes. It seems to me this is backwords on the screen.
I really like this app, but just noticed a recent bug. I just switched over from an original iPhone to the new iPhone 3GS. Awsome phone, but noticed that I no longer have access to uppercase my player's names. Not a real big deal- more alike a very slight annoyance. Keep up the good work, and thanks for the super simple great app.
Great App - However - I emailed the first game - cleared the stats - kept track of the second game - went to email the stats - and it will not bring up my email. I went to check and make sure the default email had not changed - it was fine. Am I missing an update? Thanks - markredd@markredd.com
